Real Italian gelato is coming to you !

Written by admin on November 6, 2015

If you don’t know me, I am italian. I am not a big fan of sweets, but man, I love gelato. Gelato is not the american ice-cream, gelato is served at a higher temperature, it is smooth and creamy, has less butterfat and sugar and it is a real treat. Can you imagine my frustration, I have been to the US now since 2007 and I cannot find a good gelato. Besides, my daughter is 4 and she loves ice-cream. So we HAVE TO visit ice-cream places at least once a week … and I am not really happy with what we find.

What is franchising ?

Written by admin on December 22, 2014

Have you ever wondered “What is franchising ?”.

Franchising is a growth and cash leveraging strategy. For a fee, a company that has a defined brand and an operating system, can franchise its concept, by teaching its system and allowing the use of its brand to an independent business owner. The company that franchises its system is called a franchisor, or Zor in the industry. The individual that buys into the system is an independent entity, called the franchisee or Zee.

Companies decide to franchise their concept to grow without having to invest added capital. The financial risk is supported by the franchisee. The franchisor provides training and support and is compensated in the form of royalties, usually on the franchisee’s gross sales. The franchisor needs committed individuals, business owners passionate about their business that will make their business a success. If a franchisee is successful, the franchisor will make money when collecting royalties.

A paradigm shift

Written by admin on August 26, 2014

A paradigm shift happens when we start to see reality from a different point of view. I hear often that perception is reality. Our fears, habits and preconceived ideas shape our beliefs and the way we see the world.

If you are or have been part of the corporate world, you might have been lured in believing that having a corporate job is the safest option, maybe the only option for you. After all, it seems safe to receive a paycheck at the end of the pay period, doesn’t it ? What if I told you that the good corporate jobs are gone and that you are not that safe anymore ?
